# FAQ

> Common questions about Xblu.

> **What can I trade?**
>
> CFDs on forex, indices, stocks, commodities and crypto, from one account. Open the instrument list in the terminal to see every instrument and whether its market is open. See [Markets and hours](https://docs.xblu.io/en/trading/markets-and-hours.md).

> **Do I need a wallet, a token or a chain?**
>
> No. You deposit by card or from a crypto wallet of yours, trade from your account, and withdraw by bank transfer or in USDC. There is no Xblu token and nothing to connect. See [What Xblu is](https://docs.xblu.io/en/overview.md).

> **Is Xblu the counterparty of my trades?**
>
> Yes. Xblu is the counterparty of every position and settles it in its own ledger.

> **Can I practise first?**
>
> Yes. Every account comes with a paper family: virtual money, real prices, the same rules. See [Paper trading](https://docs.xblu.io/en/money/paper-trading.md).

> **Why was my order refused?**
>
> The ticket says why, next to the field concerned: a closed market, a stop loss too close to the price or beyond the liquidation price, not enough free margin, a size outside the instrument's range, or no fresh price right now. A refused order takes nothing. See [Place an order](https://docs.xblu.io/en/trading/place-an-order.md#why-an-order-is-refused).

> **Why did my maximum leverage drop?**
>
> Each instrument carries its own cap, and it applies on top of the leverage you set per asset class. The leverage dialog shows the range of the instrument on screen. See [Leverage and margin](https://docs.xblu.io/en/trading/leverage-and-margin.md#each-instrument-has-its-own-cap).

> **When is a position liquidated?**
>
> On an account margined per position, when its price loss reaches the liquidation threshold of its margin, at the **Liq. Price** shown on the ticket, the position and the chart. On an account margined per account, positions are closed instead when the margin level falls to the stop-out. See [Liquidation, margin calls and stop-outs](https://docs.xblu.io/en/trading/liquidation.md).

> **How is overnight swap calculated?**
>
> The ticket shows the terms before you open. By default, a yearly rate on the notional at the open price, charged for every night the position is held through 21:00 UTC, weekends included. See [Fees and spread](https://docs.xblu.io/en/trading/fees-and-spread.md#overnight-swap).

> **Can I lose more than what is on my account?**
>
> No. A position margined per position never closes worse than its liquidation price. If a gap leaves an account below zero, the balance is reset to zero. See [Negative balance protection](https://docs.xblu.io/en/trading/liquidation.md#negative-balance-protection).

> **Is my stop loss guaranteed?**
>
> No. In a fast or gapping market, it can close worse than its level. See [How a stop loss fills](https://docs.xblu.io/en/trading/place-an-order.md#how-a-stop-loss-fills).

> **The market says closed. Why?**
>
> Stocks, indices, currency pairs and most commodities follow their exchange's hours and the interbank week. Open positions stay open and keep paying the swap, and waiting orders keep waiting. Some of them are quoted through the weekend. See [Markets and hours](https://docs.xblu.io/en/trading/markets-and-hours.md).

> **What is the minimum deposit?**
>
> The deposit page states it for each way of paying: the minimum and the maximum per card deposit, and the minimum of each crypto route. See [Deposit](https://docs.xblu.io/en/money/deposit.md).

> **I sent USDC.e or USDbC. Where is it?**
>
> Only native USDC is credited. Write to us from the account concerned, with the transaction, and say in the first line that money is involved. See [Deposit in crypto](https://docs.xblu.io/en/money/deposit.md#deposit-in-crypto).

> **How long does a withdrawal take?**
>
> A crypto withdrawal under our daily caps usually arrives in 15 to 20 minutes. A bank transfer, or a withdrawal above the caps, is reviewed first, within 72 hours. See [Withdraw](https://docs.xblu.io/en/money/withdraw.md#how-long-it-takes).

> **Why do my withdrawals wait 24 hours?**
>
> You changed how you sign in: password, passkey, email, second factor or address book. The wait gives you time to react if it was not you. See [When withdrawals wait 24 hours](https://docs.xblu.io/en/money/withdraw.md#when-withdrawals-wait-24-hours).

> **Do I need to verify my identity?**
>
> Identity checks are not open yet. Opening an account and depositing take an email address, a password and two-factor authentication. The app will ask for identity checks when they open.

> **Do my positions stay open when I sign out?**
>
> Yes. Signing out, closing the browser or losing your connection never closes a position. Your stop loss and take profit keep working on our side.

> **Can I copy trades with ReflectFX?**
>
> Yes. ReflectFX asks for access to your trading accounts, and you choose for each one: **Lead** (it reads the trades) or **Follow** (it opens and closes positions). End the access at any time in **Security**, under **Connected apps**.

## Where to get help

Open **Help** in the app. For a question it does not cover, click **Open a request**, or write to [support@xblu.io](mailto:support@xblu.io) from the email of the account concerned. We answer Monday to Friday, during market hours. If money is involved, say so in the first line.
