Before a first deposit

Two steps protect the money before it arrives, and the app asks for both on the deposit page:
  1. A confirmed email address. The link is sent to the address you registered with, is valid for 24 hours, and only the last one sent works.
  2. Two-factor authentication. A code from an authenticator app, or a passkey, on top of the password, before money can move.
A deposit lands on your main account, in its currency. Move it to a trading account with Move money before placing an order.

By card

The card is entered on the payment provider’s page, in the window the app opens. The page closes on its own once your account is credited. The deposit page states the minimum and the maximum per card deposit.

From a crypto wallet

Choose a token and a network. The app then shows the address to send to, and the amount when the route asks for one. Your account is credited in its currency once the network has confirmed the transfer. The deposit page lists the routes open right now, and the minimum each takes per deposit. A route works in one of two ways, and the page says which:
  • An address of your own. The address is yours to keep: any amount of that token sent to it on that network is credited, whether or not the page is open, and it reaches your account in full. Only that token on that network is read on the address: anything else sent to it is not seen and not credited. Write to us with the transaction if it happens.
  • A bridged transfer. The page gives an exact amount and an address for this deposit. The transfer is settled through a bridge, and the page states what reaches your account after the bridge’s costs. Send only that token on that network: another token, or the same token on another network, is lost.
Send native USDC only. A bridged variant, USDC.e on Arbitrum or Polygon, USDbC on Base, is not credited. Where the address is a contract, send from a wallet you hold, not from an exchange: a withdrawal from an exchange may not reach it.
While the transfer settles, the page follows it: seen on the network, confirmed, settled, credited, with an estimate of the time left. A deposit held for a check says so, and is credited or returned to you once the desk has looked at it.

Deposits under way

Every deposit is listed on the money page with its state: pending, credited, failed, expired or abandoned. A card payment that is closed without being paid credits nothing.

Paper accounts

A paper account is topped up with play money from the same page. A top-up cannot be withdrawn and never reaches a live account.
